Calico Bag Kit

Decorate and personalise your own designer carry bag with this Calico Bag Kit. This no fuss kit includes everything you need to decorate 30 calico bags.

A great project for a fundraising event, Mothers Day gifts, and a fun and engaging way to introduce textiles into the classroom.

This kit includes 30 Calico Bags with Handles (35 x 45cm), and 24 Textile Markers (2-4mm felt tip) in an assortment of 12 colours. Marker colours are washable after fixing with an iron.

Also included is a pack of A4 size Glitter Iron-On Transfer Sheets in 10 assorted colours. These transfer sheets are a wonderfully quick, clean and fun way to decorate fabric. To use, simply cut out your design (shapes, letters etc.) from the Iron-on Transfer sheets. Arrange the pieces on flat fabric, shiny side up (matte side to fabric), and cover with baking paper. Iron for approximately one minute (using the cotton setting). Once fixed, remove the shiny protective film from the transfer. To overlap pieces, always iron each layer separately, remove film, then add a new layer. A fun activity for all ages.

Washing instructions: To avoid shrinkage wash in cold water only. Hand wash or use a gentle machine cycle.
